Welcome
We are based at Chiseldon Recreation Field. We have 3 outdoor courts, 2 of which are floodlit. We are an LTA affiliated club and we are currently working to achieve Clubmark accreditation.
We are a friendly and social club and welcome members of all abilities and ages.
For members seeking more competitive play, we have 7 teams (mens, ladies and mixed) in the Swindon and District League.
We also hold weekly social tennis nights and coaching sessions for juniors and adults.
If you are interested in joining or would like to know more then feel free to contact us or why not come along to the courts and meet us.

Mini Tennis Tournaments - June 5th 2012
Chiseldon Tennis Club is holding its very first official LTA tennis tournament on Tuesday 4th June 2012. In the morning we will have the Mini Red competition fro 8 & Unders running from 9am to 12 pm. And in the afternoon we will be having the Mini Orange Tournament running from 2-4pm.

Summer League
The summer league is now under way with our seven teams.
Please note that during the summer league there are a few changes to court usage:
- There is no Thursday evening adult coaching during the season as matches take place at this time
- Our teams play home matches at 6:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. As such court availablility at these times may be reduced.
A Successful Day
A big thank you to all those people who attended the open day last month, the event was a great success despite the weather. We had a number of old and new members pop along to help make the day run smoothly
In addition to adult tennis we had a good number of juniors come up for some coaching with head coach Phil Kerley and assistant coach Shane Kingsley
We wrapped up the day with a fastest serve competition which was won by Toby Green with a great speed of 94 mph
The Pike Twins
A massive congratulations to two of our members, Adam and Susie Pike. Susie gave birth to twin boys on April 14th and after a rough start both are now at home and doing well. I'm sure everyone will join me in sending them a big cheer.
Of course we will want to see rackets in their hands asap, I'm thinking Wimbledon mens doubles finalists 2030.
Membership Renewal
It's that time of year again!
The new membership form is available in the Join section or by clicking image to the right.
All completed forms to be returned before the 30th of April to avoid a late fee.
Please remember, ALL information is required on the membership form, without it your membership will not be processed.
Shoe Tags
As the number of members at Chiseldon is growing it is becoming increasingly difficult to manage who is and who isn’t a
member when new faces appear on the courts. We have also had problems whereby ex-members have kept their key and have still been using the courts. Therefore to manage this more effectively we introduced shoe tags towards the end of last summer.
These tags are required for ALL members who wish to use the courts, and must be worn on your shoe whilst playing.
All members will be issued with a tag for the 2012/13 sesaon when your memberhsip is processed.
